Urban Remedy has a longstanding reputation for bringing healthy foods to market. When their new leadership team asked for our help commercializing a dehydrated better-for-you snack, we could not wait to bring our experienced team and processing technology to find the best solution.
Our SAUNA™ dehydration technology improves ingredient quality and reduces drying time in a wide range of dehydrated products. Our know-how allowed us to improve a technically-challenging, good-for-you gluten-free cookie. We developed and commissioned a scaled process resulting in increased quality and reduced costs, opening up new sales channels for Urban Remedy’s incredible products. Our partnership made it possible for Urban Remedy to “nest” a Treasure8 scaled down plant with a Treasure8 SAUNA™ and hot-air dehydration system as a micro-factory inside their facility to further reduce product costs.
